We invited 16 year old Katie Allen of Easton to visit the studio on Monday, June 18th to talk about her fundraising efforts for the Children’s Miracle Network, and her visit to the Miss Maryland’s Outstanding Teen competition in Hagerstown. Katie also shared that she would like to attend dental school and become an Orthodontist in the future. Her personal platform is called “Healthy Smiles, Healthy Lives,” and she loves educating children and adults about the importance of good dental hygiene.
Later that week, we heard that Katie, who will be a Senior at EHS this fall, won the competition and was crowned the new “Miss Maryland’s Outstanding Teen” for this year! Congrats, Katie!
