My wife is stuggling with a cold and the other day she posted on Facebook, something like “sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug…today I’m the bug.” My response was, it’s been a “bug” of a week for sure.
What We Learned:
- If you go see a show, check (and double check) your tickets. We missed a show in NYC that was a matinee. We forgot…assumed it was an evening show. Oops. Netflix and Uber Eats in an expensive hotel room was romantic enough, I suppose.
- Back-up your data. They warned us after that Iranian general was killed around Christmastime. I remember it well. It was mentioned that everyone, regular folks and small/medium size businesses (not just billion-dollar companies) should do it. Well, we should’ve done it more. That’s all I’ll say. Take the time and back things up, and then unlpug your backup from the network. And then backup your backup.
- Brush your teeth regularly to avoid things like cavities and root canals (Mark Potter).
- Exercise regularly, take your Vitamin C supplements, and maybe, just maybe, you could be the only person in the family not to catch the cold (wish me luck)!
