Forever Mid-Shore attends White Marsh Elementary Career Day – June 6, 2022

WCEI Program Director Matt Spence attended Career Day at White Marsh Elementary School in Trappe and spoke to groups of students about what his workday is like and discussed other types of careers in radio and broadcasting. Students got to ask questions, talk into the microphone, and listen to studio headphones!

Forever Mid-Shore Job Fair comes to Easton – March 10, 2022

Forever Mid-Shore held the first ever Career & Job Fair on Saturday, March 10, at the Quality Inn on route 50. More than 15 employers were in attendance. There was a very positive response from both employers and those looking for work who attended.

Mid-Shore helps with “Red Kettle Challenge” – December 2, 2021

WCEI and WINX were Live on Location with the Salvation Army of the Mid-Shore for their annual “Red Kettle Challenge” at the Cambridge, MD Wal-Mart location. In a 4-hour period, the Mid-Shore chapter raised $31,560, ranking 8th nationwide! These funds will help the local Salvation Army chapter continue the great work they do year-round!

Forever Mid-Shore sponsors “Pink Pumpkins” – October 2, 2021

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, WCEI & WINX are conducting our “Pink Pumpkins” promotion all month. Pink Pumpkins are stationed at area businesses, with hopes of generating donations for the UM Shore Regional Health Clark Comprehensive Breast Center in Easton and the Eleanor & Ethel Leh Women’s Center in Chestertown.
