Forever Mid-Shore held the first ever Career & Job Fair on Saturday, March 10, at the Quality Inn on route 50. More than 15 employers were in attendance. There was a very positive response from both employers and those looking for work who attended.
During January & February, WCEI & WINX promoted our “Cause for Paws” Pet Food Drive, encouraging listeners to make donations of pet food (and if they preferred, cash) to be donated to local animal shelters.

WCEI and WINX were Live on Location with the Salvation Army of the Mid-Shore for their annual “Red Kettle Challenge” at the Cambridge, MD Wal-Mart location. In a 4-hour period, the Mid-Shore chapter raised $31,560, ranking 8th nationwide! These funds will help the local Salvation Army chapter continue the great work they do year-round!
