Here’s my latest “Kardashian Free” Entertainment News:
-“The Voice” trumps “Idol” – Yes, American Idol came back to good ratings Sunday Night for ABC. But the Top Dog right now appears to be the NBC singing competition, which has (in an ironic twist of fate) added the original “Idol” winner, Kelly Clarkson, as a coach for this season. In the first head-to-head matchup of the season, “Voice” (11.7 million viewers) beat “Idol” (8.4 million).
-Reboot Rumor of the Day: “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” might be coming back one day. Execs at Fox are reportedly ready to do it whenever creator Joss Whedon gets around to it. Here’s hoping they bring the band back together (they better get Sarah Michelle Gellar involved or they shouldn’t bother)!
-Will Rex flex his dancing muscles? Just a day after being fired, there’s widespread speculation (and let’s face it, that’s absolutely all it is at this point) that former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson could be a potential target for ABC to recruit for a future “Dancing With The Stars” season. The upcoming season this Spring is all sports/athletes, so Rex has plenty of time to train, if he’s interested.
